JASON NEW ENERGY LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the ENERION Power mobile application ("ENERION Power" or the "App") handles information when you use the App.
1. About ENERION Power
ENERION Power is a battery management application designed for compatible ENERION lithium battery systems and supported battery management systems (BMS).
The App uses Bluetooth to communicate directly with compatible battery hardware and may display information such as:
- Battery voltage
- Current
- Power
- State of charge (SOC)
- Individual cell voltages
- Battery temperatures
- Battery operating status
- Battery fault information
- BMS stored history
- Supported BMS configuration parameters
- Firmware update status
2. Personal Information
ENERION Power does not require users to create an account or sign in to use its normal battery monitoring features.
The App is designed primarily to communicate directly between your mobile device and a compatible battery management system through Bluetooth.
Battery information received from the BMS is processed on the user's device for purposes such as monitoring, diagnostics, configuration, history viewing, and firmware updates.
3. Bluetooth Access
ENERION Power requires Bluetooth access to:
- Discover compatible ENERION battery systems
- Connect to supported BMS devices
- Read battery operating information
- Read supported BMS history and configuration data
- Send authorized BMS configuration changes
- Perform supported firmware updates
Bluetooth scanning is used for discovering compatible battery devices and is not intended to determine or track the user's physical location.
4. Battery and Diagnostic Data
The App may read technical information directly from a connected BMS, including battery status, cell information, temperature information, fault information, stored history, configuration values, and diagnostic information.
This information is used to provide the battery management functions requested by the user.
ENERION Power does not automatically upload BMS diagnostic information to JASON NEW ENERGY LLC servers as part of normal battery monitoring.
5. Diagnostic Report and Data Export
ENERION Power may allow users to generate, export, or share diagnostic reports and BMS history files. These actions are initiated by the user.
When a user chooses to share or export a file using the device's system sharing features, the file may be provided to a third-party application or service selected by the user. Any information sent to a third-party service is subject to that third party's privacy policy.
6. BMS Settings
Certain versions of ENERION Power allow authorized users to view or modify supported BMS configuration and calibration parameters.
These settings are communicated directly between the mobile device and the connected BMS. Advanced BMS configuration functions may be password protected to help prevent unintended changes.
7. Firmware Updates
ENERION Power may support Bluetooth firmware updates for compatible battery management systems. Firmware update functions may require authorization before they can be used.
Firmware data is transmitted from the user's device directly to the connected BMS. Users should only install firmware intended for the specific battery management system being updated.
8. Location Information
ENERION Power does not use Bluetooth battery scanning for location tracking. The App is intended to discover nearby compatible BMS devices rather than determine a user's geographic location.
If the Android operating system requests Bluetooth-related permissions, those permissions are used to enable communication with supported battery devices.
9. Advertising
ENERION Power does not display third-party advertising within the App.
10. Financial Services
ENERION Power does not provide banking, lending, payment, investment, cryptocurrency, insurance, or other financial products or services.
11. Health and Medical Information
ENERION Power is a battery management tool. The App does not provide medical, health, fitness, or wellness services and is not intended to collect or process health information.
12. Children's Privacy
ENERION Power is intended for adult users and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly design the App to collect personal information from children.
13. Data Retention
Battery information used for live monitoring is generally processed on the user's device.
Some information, such as diagnostic reports or exported BMS history files, may remain on the user's device if the user chooses to save or export them. Users can remove exported files using the normal file-management functions of their device.
14. Data Sharing
ENERION Power does not sell users' personal information.
The App does not automatically share BMS information with advertisers.
Information may be shared with another application or service when the user explicitly chooses to export or share a diagnostic report, history file, or other supported data.
15. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to design ENERION Power so that communication with compatible battery devices is limited to functions necessary for battery monitoring, diagnostics, configuration, and firmware updates.
Users should keep their mobile devices secure and should not provide BMS configuration or firmware-update authorization credentials to unauthorized persons.
16. Third-Party Services
If a user chooses to share an exported file through email, cloud storage, messaging applications, or other third-party services, those services operate independently from ENERION Power.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party applications or services selected by the user.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to ENERION Power, applicable laws, or platform requirements.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
